Common Questions

FAQ

Everything couples usually ask us, gathered in one place. Can't find your answer? Book a call or send us an enquiry.

Do you charge travel fees?

No. We travel UK wide (excluding Ireland) with no travel fees attached, wherever you've chosen to say "I do."

What's the difference between the two packages?

Photography (£1,100) covers up to 9 hours of photography, prep to first dance, with a full online gallery. Photography & Film (£1,950) includes everything in Photography, plus a cinematic highlight film with drone footage included, weather and venue permitting.

How many hours of coverage do we get?

Up to 9 hours, from getting ready through to your first dance, included in both packages.

How quickly will we see any photos or film?

Sneak peeks are sent within 3 days for the Photography package. Full galleries are delivered within 8 weeks for Photography, and within 12 weeks for Photography & Film — both season dependent.

What add-ons can we book?

Content Creation (£450, 2–3 reels delivered within 3 days), Ceremony & Speeches Film (£350), an Extra Photographer (£350), and a Luxury Photo Book designed in-house from your chosen photos (from £139).

Is drone footage really included?

Yes, as part of the Photography & Film package's highlight film — subject to venue permission and safe weather conditions on the day.

Do you travel outside Yorkshire?

Absolutely — anywhere in the UK. Barns, warehouses, hotels, beaches, forests, rooftops and stately homes across England, and we also cover Scotland — we got married in Glencoe ourselves, so Scottish elopements and weddings are close to our hearts too.

Who will actually be there on the day?

John and Christie — us. We're husband and wife, and we work every wedding together. John is behind the camera as photographer; Christie directs the story as videographer.

Are you insured?

Yes — we're fully insured with public liability and equipment cover, so if your venue needs proof of insurance, that's one less thing to worry about.

Do you need feeding on the day?

A hot meal at some point during the day is much appreciated — we're on our feet from prep to first dance and it keeps us going for you. A cold soft drink now and then goes down well too, especially on a long summer wedding. Beyond that, we're genuinely low-maintenance and easy to have around.

Anything else we should know about looking after you on the day?

Just full disclosure really — we are completely, unreasonably obsessed with chocolate. This absolutely isn't an expectation, so please don't feel you need to sort us anything — but if a couple happens to leave a stray bar of chocolate lying around for us, it will not go to waste.

What happens if the weather's bad on the day?

We've shot in wind, rain and Scottish drizzle and some of our favourite images have come from exactly those conditions. Drone footage depends on safe weather, but photography and film coverage go ahead whatever the forecast — we'll simply adapt where we shoot.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you have a date and venue confirmed, ideally. We only take on one wedding per day, so popular dates — especially spring and summer Saturdays — can book up 12 months or more ahead.

How do we book, or find out if we're a good fit?

Start with a short call — no obligation, just a chance to talk through your day and see if we're right for each other. Or send us an enquiry directly and we'll come back to you with availability.
